On-Time Productions partnered with Blue Mountain Velo to put on the 2022 Pennsylvania Cycling Association’s State Time Trial.

“BMV’s 433 TeeTee” as it was called – we like rhyming words & it just happened to roll right past Manda Golf Course! 

We had an astounding 80+ racers take to the course.

The course was an out & back 12 mile round trip Time Trial along route 443.  The race started just outside PA National Guard’s Fort Indiantown Gap & Memorial Lake. It traversed route 443 6 miles west to the turn around at Manda Gap Road. In discussions with the tonwships, we determined this was the safest place for a turn around with the necessary visability and line of sight for oncoming traffic.

Since this was the only USA Cycling sanctioned time trials in Pennsylvania for 2022, it served as the Elite, Junior, and Master’s State Time Trial Championship.

What was interesting was that if an individual wanted to contest for the Category 4 Championship AND compete as a master in their age rage, they had to race twice.

Yes – race a 12 mile time trial twice.

We had several individuals race twice.  This provided a challenge when setting up start times.  If you registered twice, your first race was at the beginning of the day, and your second race was at the very end.  With almost 90 total racers, this method ensured there was plenty of time between the racers 2 events to give them time to reset themselves.

With no accidents or incidents, it was a fantastic event.  We are already talking about 2023’s event.
